Statement of Purpose

Our Vision:

Kabbolos HaMalchus & Shomer Mitzvos – That all gentiles should accept G-d’s absolute sovereignty and kingship over the world, and for this reason observe G-d’s  seven commandments of the covenant of Noah, the universal moral code for all mankind. Specifically because they were repeated by G-d to Moses at Mount Sinai during the revelation of the Holy Torah, an eternal source which obligates its continued observance by all mankind.

Our Mission:

Yishuv HaOlam – the settlement of the world, for the peoples of all nations, with the establishment of stable, morally upright and just societies based on the code of Seven Noachide Commandments. As the prophet expresses the purpose of creation: ‘He did not create it a waste land, He formed it to be inhabited.’ (Isaiah 45:1)

‘This is the purpose of the Seven Noachide Commandments, to ensure that the world be in a state of decency, each person acting with justice and righteousness to another. This is connected with the “Name of the L-rd” — the Seven Noachide Commandments are fulfilled because a person has faith in the Creator of the world; Who commanded him to conduct himself in an orderly, constructive, decent fashion; and to utilize his abilities and influence on others to ensure that they also conduct themselves properly.’ – The Lubavitcher Rebbe, 11th Nissan, 5742 (1982).

Moshiach Now – We aim to help prepare the way for the King Messiah; may he come soon, speedily in our days. As the Lubavitcher Rebbe said: ‘Through all this work, of teaching the laws of Noach to the nations of the world, which is a preparation for the work of Moshiach, may we merit the ultimate and complete goal of perfecting the world with the fulfilment of the promise: “For then will I turn to the peoples a pure language, that they may all call upon the Name of the L-rd to serve Him with one consent.” ‘ – 11th Nissan, 5745 (1985).

Our Priorities:

OUTREACH – To promote awareness and observance of the Seven Commandments of the Descendants of Noah and all their ramifications, in accordance with the halacha (Jewish Law), because they are commandments from G-d to Whom we are all  accountable. We aim to help others find out and learn about the Seven Noachide Commandments and their obligation to observe them.

EDUCATION – We will organize regular study sessions and classes on the Noachide Commandments with an Orthodox Rabbi, because when they are studied properly, these laws are found to encompass a wealth of ethical and spiritual content, which gives meaning and purpose to life. As the Rebbe said: ‘Through spreading belief in the Creator and Master of the world to all peoples, the world is permeated with the idea of “Know the G-d of your father and serve Him with a whole heart.” This serves as the preparation to the Messianic era, when “the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of G-d as the waters cover the sea.” – Yud-Aleph Nissan, 5743.

BUILDING COMMUNITIES – We aim to build a strong community of Observant Noachides with a forum and regular meetings, classes and assemblies.

WORLDWIDE NETWORKING – We aim to support the Bnai Noach movement worldwide, working with Ask Noah International, the Chabad-Lubavitch Foundation and other Orthodox Jewish organisations.
